Will Tyreek Hill Leave Miami? A Dolphins Legend Gives His Opinion

The Miami Dolphins said goodbye to one of their favorite players, Terron Armstead, who announced his retirement after 12 amazing years in the NFL. He was a leader and a pro on and off the field and will always be part of the Dolphins family.

Even though he’s done playing football, Armstead is still very much connected to the Dolphins and isn’t afraid to share his thoughts on the team.

One of the biggest topics of conversation is the trade rumors surrounding star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. He recently appeared on the “Kay Adams Show” and addressed the rumors head on, what he thinks will happen to Hill.

Terron Armstead Speaks Out on Tyreek Hill Trade Rumors

With all the drama surrounding Tyreek Hill’s future, Terron Armstead has made it clear where he stands: He thinks Hill will stay in Miami.

“I believe so, I believe he stays in Miami,” Armstead said. “I’m sure he’s started that process and put in the work to earn back the trust of his teammates, the organization and the city too.”

Armstead acknowledged the tough situation Hill was in at the end of the 2024 season, especially when Hill walked off the field in the last game – which drew a lot of heat. But Armstead praised Hill for taking accountability and working to fix the relationships within the team.

“We talked on the bus after the game and I was real with him,” Armstead said. “Quitting on your team like that ain’t right and I told him that. But Tyreek understood the situation immediately.”

Hill has since apologized publicly, including on the “Kay Adams Show”. He apologized to Tua, his teammates and the whole organization. And it seems like that’s worked with Armstead, who sees Hill’s willingness to make amends as growth.

Dolphins Coach Mike McDaniel Weighs In

Head coach Mike McDaniel also addressed the fallout from Hill’s actions last season. According to reports, McDaniel had a real talk with Hill about his behavior and accountability and teamwork.

Some are still speculating he’ll be traded but all signs point to him being here through 2025. He’s currently recovering from a torn ligament in his wrist and seems focused on rehab and rebuilding trust rather than packing his bags.

Tyreek Hill Responds to Trade Rumors

Despite the rumors he’s still on social media addressing comments saying he’s leaving Miami. His responses say he wants to be here.

In his “Kay Adams Show” appearance he apologized again and said he’s moving forward positively. For now it seems the star wideout is determined to prove everyone wrong by showing his loyalty to the team.
